Ericsson
WHO: Ericsson
WHAT: Incentive Trip
BRIEF: We were approached by Ericsson to propose a unique and exciting destination for their incentive trip. The trip was to include a programme of activities and excursions in order for Ericsson to reward their 100 top performers from around the world, along with their partners.
RESULT: The incentive trip we planned centred around a four night stay in Rio de Janeiro, where the Ericsson staff could enjoy the best of Brazilian culture and hospitality. After overseeing all logistical elements including lunches, gala dinners and travel arrangements from 12 worldwide destinations, we also planned and coordinated a number of exciting excursions on location, including a cable car ride up Sugarloaf Mountain, a visit to Christ the Redeemer followed by a drinks reception and cocktail making masterclass, and a jeep safari through Tijuca National Park – the world’s largest urban rainforest.
Other scheduled excursions included a trip to the secluded San Bernardo Island, travelling on a private chartered vintage sailing boat, for beach games, watersports and a barbecue. To seal the experience, guests were given the opportunity to sample all the colour and fun of the famous Rio Carnival at a memorable gala dinner, with entertaining performances by samba dancers and steel drum musicians.
