The Office Group Networking
WHO: The Office Group
WHAT: Client Networking
BRIEF: We were requested to develop a quarterly networking event which would bring together clients from The Office Group’s 25 or so office locations across London. With many of their clients occupying temporary or virtual office spaces, all from varied sectors, TOG wanted to provide opportunities in which engaging with each other would feel fun, relaxed and natural. Whilst our client did not want the evening to feel overly structured, it was a sell-out event and with so many participants it was crucial that the flow of the evening was carefully managed by us.
As a functioning office space, it was necessary for us to set up and de-rig on the day of the event without causing unnecessary disruption to anyone working at Henry Wood House.
RESULT: As a refreshing and relaxed take on speed networking, we designed the event around a selection of interactive, competitive games which adorned the large café and reception space within Henry Wood House. The games, many of which were to be played in small teams, included a number of table football and air hockey stations, a giant Scalextric track and a bespoke crazy golf course spelling out the company name.
Each zone in the room was colour-coded, and guests were handed a score card that encouraged them work the room in a relaxed and fun way, participating in all activities and connecting with other members. Guests would receive a coloured sticker for each game completed, and at the end of the evening the score cards were entered into a prize draw.
