As the creepiest night of the year approaches, here at Potcakes we have been considering the scariest horror movies of then and now, in a bid to compile our Halloween Movie Marathon playlist. Here's what made the shortlist, and why.
The Exorcist: because we finally understand why we were never allowed to watch this as children.
Paranormal Activity: because this film truly made us paranoid.
Badadook: because this one plays on your mind long after the closing credits.
Alien: because "In space, no one can hear you scream".
Stephen King's IT: because drain pipes will never be the same again.
Se7en: because we never knew how dangerous the Seven deadly sins were.
American Horror Story Season 1, 2 and 3: because sometimes you need more than two hours of fear.
